). If you have the stock alternator and crank your system up even occasionally, you may well have damaged the alternator. Like I said before, check your connections and have your battery/alternator checked out. If you have a battery charger, it would be a good idea to charge the battery right before you go to the shop. Depending on what equipment they use, a discharged battery can give false readings, and you don't want to have to wait around all day or leave your car there while they charge the battery.
