I have an old Alpine 8040 alarm with an impact sensor, radar sensor, etc, in a bag.(left over from an old project.) I want to put a motion sensor alarm on my motorcycle. I know the impact sensor works, but I am not sure about the rest of the system...
Should I just buy one of the "all-in-one" little cheap alarms(sensor, remote switch, and siren built in)? Or can I find a simple control unit that the impact sensor will work with, and just connect to my horns?
Thanks.

I've installed a full K9 alarm system with radar under the seat of a crotch rocket before....creativity will work wonders.  Even got starter kill and flashing park lamps to work!
