Can anyone refer me to a good shop to fix head units?  I have a Clarion AutoPC that needs repaired as well as a Kenwood X717 that is working.  I'm located in Columbus, OH.  A local shop would be nice, but I'll take anything I can get at this point.  Also what is the going rate of a repair shop these days....  I know Ford charges $75 an hour for non-warranty work, is that about the same for electronics repair?

thanks

Mark

for one thing, it's hard to find a repair business let alone  a good one.  second,  Mechanic shops are ripoffs for mechanical work but you should find an electronics repair in the same territory.  My advice is try some of the local Independent shops and see who they might use for that kind of repair.

Send Clarion an e-mail for a authorized service center in your area, pay the shipping charge and get it done from the authorized service center.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

I agree with frobidden.  If you want it done right you should send it to the Company.  There should be a customer service numbeer on the bottom of the H/U or the box it came in, if not here's a link.  http://www.clarion.com/usa/service/
