I have a pioneer DEH-p7200. Tthe front and rear rca goes to amps. the mids and highs play soft compare to the back . I have used different amps for the front , have tried using different rca wires and different speakers but the same happens . when i try using another output rca(from my brother deck (deh-4300)) it plays very loud. Both my deck and his deck settings are equivalent. i'v sent his front output to my front amp and it sounds loud. therefore there is a problem with my front rca's. i've even try measuring the rca voltage output with a multimeter on the ac voltage scale . the voltage on mine averages about 0.01 volts and his is about 0.2 which is a big difference . what can i do . this only happens when i play cds, the output is much higher when i'm in tuner mode...what can i do ?

Sounds like you have blown the front output, but it is unusual for the rest to work.  Some thing to check, FIE is on or off, fader centred.  Is there any "engine" noise coming through the front?  If there is, jumper the RCA shield (the outer ring) from the rear to front.  Use a wire, touch the outer part of rca together.  If it works,  you blew the ground off the rca.  If not, open the deck, check the main board for burnt traces or cold solder joints.  Good luck.

... but before you open the deck, if it's still under warranty take it back where you bought it for repairs.

I don't think that the ground of the rca are damaged because when i just the radio, the front outputs seem normal and play loud....i'll try grounding the rcas with the rear ...
