paint? MDF? I've seen (and used) Fleckstone before, but not just plain paint.usually if the box is made of MDF, you use automotive carpet, or vinyl. To use vinyl ya just use an adhesive spray to tack it down, then you can use a staple gun to secure it where it won't be seen. make sure all surfaces are very smooth. I usually counter-sink the screw heads, then use plastic wood over them so they are hidden, and won't show through. Vinyl isn't very forgiving so cutting it to fit the panels is a bit of a job but take your time and it goes well.Auto carpet is stretchy so it forgives mistakes a bit more. Seams hide or blend better too. Also held down with 3M type 77 spray adhesive.Fleckstone, you just counter-sink and putty the screws as with vinyl, then spray the two-layer stuff on from a can. It comes out looking a flecked in WHITE/ grey/black. Neat stuff over all.-GlassWolf
