I have a DEI Valet 552T remote start unit that I want to install in a 1999 Ford Taurus. There is no alarm and no chip in the key... Do I need any other hardware for this car to install the 552T? The car does have remote locks... I am only interested in hooking up the 552T for remote start only. Thanks

1999 taurus
the above link is all your wiring for a 1999 ford taurus
You will need a bypass module to bypass the transponder system in your ford. A DEI 555f or555u would work.

555f is better, do not need to use key in module.
