I am having a problem with the alarm in my 98 ford f-150. I bought the truck used and alarm was installed. Remote has Premier name on it . Does anyone know who makes this brand or where to find info.

so the cd player is a pioneer premier? if it is, and its older, it probably has that DFS alarm. all it does is monitor your door trigger. if the door is open after the deck is armed it will give you a selectable number of seconeds to put the faceplate on or turn the ignition on, if you fail to meet that, the "siren" is the speakers going off. if there is a problem with it, like it thinks the door trigger is going off all the time, then go to http://pioneerelectronics.com and download the install manual for your deck, and use that to unhook the alarm connections. you might be able to turn those features off in the deck menu but i cant remember.

I think "Premier" is the products from AUtomobility in Montreal.

PREMIER IS MADE BY BLACK WIDOW WHICH IF A FULL ALARM WOULD EITHER BE A SYSTEM 2 OR SYSTEM 7.

THE REMOTE SHOULD HAVE 3 BUTTONS,WITH TRUNK,ASTERIX AND A KEY SYMBOL.
