Hi, I had a remote starter/alarm system (impact FM-2009) installed in my 1997 explorer, but I am experiencing some problems:

1) when I remote start the truck, after the engine is running, the 4wd high and 4wd low light start to flash.  when the remote/start was engaged, use to turn on the parking lights, not anymore. The guy who installed said that was a wire that has to be power up.

2)I can not have the system warn me for arm/dissarm with lights only, you know, instead of the chirps.  Only chirps I can use, the system comes with both options.

I live in the New York City area

if anyone can help me will be greatly appreciated

Thx.

Mauricio.

I bet the installer used a t-tap type connector. Ask him how he made the connections and I bet he didnt solder.
You probably need to turn off the chirps through programming. You may be able to do it from the remote, but I bet you will need to enter programming to delete chirps. Look in the manual.
