Can anyone explain what Negative Trigger Door Locks means?

I'm looking to hook up a PAC TR-7 on a 2002 Nissan Sentra so that the doors will lock and unlock with the ignition.

The TR-7 genrates two negative outputs which have a maximum of current rating of 150 milliamps.

The negative outputs need to go to a relay per the instructions from PAC.

When the wiring diagram from the car says power lock (-) does this mean that the relay would need to create a gound for the negative trigger dook locks?

Yes you are correct. You need to wire up 2 relays like this and wire it up to the door lock wires. You can find the wires at the Time Control Unit or the SECU (smart entrance control unit) to the right of the steering column.
