I Am installing a Viper 550 remote start (my first remote start) and all the other functions are working except for the remote start. The diagnostic led blinks 6 times meaning that either the hood pin or the brake light wire are not working. I tested the hood pin and it works fine. I believe I found the brake light wire way up in the dash almost impossible to reach (good luck soldering it) I connected the wire to it and yet it still gives me the same diagnostic. Any suggestions? Also, is there an easier place to find the brake light wire? Also the Park/neutral wire. Where is the easiest place for that. I think I found it at the shifter but I am not sure. Thanks in advance.

Hi tmack, what year is your Legend? In most cases the easiest place to catch the cold side of the brake is at the brake switch or you can locate the lead going to the brake light that shows ground when not lit and 12V+ when lit. The neutral safety wire can be found at the gear select switch.

Here' the list of info I have for Acura Legends  https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/vehicles.asp?strMake=Acura&page_no=2&sort=
