turbo timer and remote start

the turbo timer is nothing more than a "stop and go" feature with reduced runtime.  I know the autostart product I sell has turbo mode, and it'll keep the vehicle running 2 minutes and shutdown...."stop and go" is the runtime of the start cycle...

Thanks I appreciate it, but what I meant was that the truck already has an aftermarket turbo timer in it. Don't think there will be any issues but just cautious.

ahhh...now I C....I've never come across that...obviously the truck is a turbo diesel :)  the aftermarket turbo timer keeps the engine running X minutes after ignition shutdown, right?  if so, there'll be no probs at all.  the only thing I see is that if the run-time of the starter expires and shuts down, the truck will stay running for the duration of the turbo timer too (usually only a few minutes)....no biggie.

essentially the turbo timer is making it appear as if the vehicle is running under key, and most alarms won't arm in that instance.  ask the customer....is the turbo timer really necessary?  I've never seen someone put it on a diesel before...tho I'm sure its of some help....

I can't think of a way to integrate a pair of devices designed to have the vehicle run unattended not interfere with each other....any thoughts?
