Can anyone tell me where the tach is located under the hood. I have the wire color code (wht/grn or white at the coil pack) but would like some more info about where exactly the coil pack can be found.
Thanks, Steve

I am installing a Crimestopper RS-900 VI remote starter. Is there any difference in the wiring diagram between the 2002 and 2003 model Sunfire? I was unable to locate 2003 using search so I was hoping you could post it for the next guy that does a search and so that I can see if there are any differences.
Thanks, Steve

the harness is the group of wires that goes into the side of the valve cover on the 2.2l ecotec

What engine do you have?
There should be a connector on the right side of the engine toward the top.

Im looking for the wire color of the DOOR TRIGGER to disable RAP after remote start shutdown and also wondering if it can be tapped into at the BCM of a 2003 Pontiac Sunfire.
Also would I need a relay to trigger the trunk output at the BCM if using the 500mA negative output from the remote starter. Is it required at the BCM or is is low enough current that I can wire it directly?
Lastly I haven't found a sopt that I can mount a hood pin switch under the hood. All the steel around the the engine compartment seems to be closed pretty good and I don't see a spot that I can get underneath to wire to even if I drilled a hole....any suggestions?

Im just thinking you wouldnt need to disable RAP after shutdown because remote start doesnt usually power the radio and accessories anyway other than the HVAC.  Perhaps Im overlooking something.

Not sure on your relay part but I would guess that you would need it.

For the pin switch maybe you can just make a small sheet metal bracket to hold the switch. You can attach the bracket to the vehicle with a small self tapping screw.
