No more than 3 feet away from the amps, and use a good size wire....

Look around....just find a good piece of metal, clean it up of paint, debris, oil, etc.....bolt it down....

That's about it....heck...all else fails, go for the floor board......

The chassis underneath the car is the best, but not the easiest, else do what the jester says!

Make sure that when you find a spot on the car it is the frame of the vehicle and not just a welded on piece of sheet metal. You will not get as good a ground from the thin piece of metal as you would the frame.
