I'm sorry you didnt read what I wrote. I indicated that there IS a ORANGE / BLACK wire from the RS-900 which is used to send a (-) ground pulse to the OEM wire.
So as you are able to disable the OEM alarm, while RSing the unit upon activation.

Are you 100% sure this is the correct OEM disarm wire?

Prdjr, I'd suggest not worrying about the fact. disarm. The only thing that a factory antitheft would do on that car would be to interrupt the starter and honk the horn when the ignition was turned on. It sounds to me like there's a problem with the tach or voltage sense (I had this '97 Crown Vic in today that would only stay running for 3 minutes in tach mode - strangest thing I've seen in a while). Have you tried remote starting with engine checking off altogether, or with a low sensitivity? I've never done a crimestopper, so those may not be options, but it's definitely not going to be a prob. with the factory alarm not disarming.

I am 100% sure because like I said before the anti-theft light will go out when I neg. pulse this wire.In the owners manual it states that the factory theft system monitors the ignition switch for 3 minutes after the theft system is armed.I'm going to try and get the car back next weekend and mess with it again,I think I should just start from scratch.

I finally found the problem..The remote start unit is a new version so the tach programing was changed,I was doing it the old way which was not working.Once I programed it the new way it workes great!!
