Installed a remote start on a 98 Chrysler Concord.   Matrix 3.5RX.  When we remote start the car the check engine light comes on. I Have all the ignition wires and the accessory wires hooked up ?? any  one have a clue as to why this light would be coming on??

does the check enginelight go off once you use the key and step on the brake, if not have you been able to clear the code?

Ok, yes the 2nd ing. wire is wired in and the 2nd acc. wire is wired up.    I can clear the code by unhooking the battery. when I start the car with the key everything is fine.  when I start the car by remote start, after 10 sec, the check engine light will come on, and the only way to clear is by unhooking the battery.
