I have a 97 Jeep Cherokee that i am installing a starter/alarm in.  The alarm is a Delta Pro 5005.  I got a printout of the wiring from my buddy at Best Buy and it says I must use relays to trigger the door locks.  The Jeep has factory door locks on it, they are 3 wire negative.  The alarm has 3 wires for door locks,

  • [green]  lock output  (-)500mA
  • [blue]  unlock output  (-)500mA
  • [red]  +12V relay trigger output  100mA

Well my question is how would i hook this up and if a relay is needed, what one(model # or whatever), where would i get it and price estimate, and how would i go about hooking it up.

It's on this site under diagrams. Heres's a quick link to the page. Just use the 3 Wire Positive Door Locks
but change both normally open terminals (87) from 12V(+) to ground as it shows.
