6x9's vs. subwoofer

No, this isn't about whether or not to choose between 6x9's or a subwoofer in my car, but rather, would the presence of a subwoofer in my trunk push so much air that I would need to separate my 6x9's that also sit down into the trunk of my car so that they have their own air supply?  The sub is under 150watt amplification and I think has a Xmax of 20mm or so.  Thanks for your help.

it's not going to hurt to do so...any speakers will generally sound better in an enclosure. As far as being necessary to avoid damage or really horrible sound, it's probably not going to matter with only 150 watts.
