A lot of new vehicles released in Australia have head units that are unable to be changed easily.  I was thinking of using high-to-low level converters so i could amp speakers from factory unit.  My question: Is there a product on the market that can boost the level of preouts when using high-to-low level converters?  Any advice would be appreciated.

Audio Control makes a line driver that will boost the level of preouts, it's called the overdrive. http://www.audiocontrol.com/MobileAudio/Products/SpecialProcessors/Overdrive.html

Hava a close look at the www.audiocontrol.com and go through their processor section. Some of their processors have line drivers and high level inputs all combined into one unit, this may be what you are after.

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
