The best and only thing you should use is a damp terry cloth. Never use chemicals of any kind. Also make sure to gently wipe the monitor never appling alot of presure becuase that will cause the pixels in the lcd to go out.

the best thing I have found is at camra specialty shop. They have a cloth towel kinda like jewelers use that works awsome. They use it to clean camra lenses, so you know it has to be good. I have had mine for over a year know and it still cleans like new.

The best stuff to use is Endust for Electronics.  When I purchased my plasma screen TV there was a protective plastic film on the screen which left a gooey residue on the screen when I removed it.  I called Hitachi support on how to remove this stuff, and they recommended the Endust.  It worked like a charm.  Works on my notebook screen too.  You can get it at Radio Shack or Wal-Mart.
