Going to install on 1998 Ford F150 with keyless entry (KARR alarm already installed by dealer)...

What do I connect the following wires to (color of wire in truck)???...Will having the KARR alarm affect installing the APS 996 in any way?

1)  Entry illumination ground output

2)  Ground when armed output (Says to connect to starter inhibit w/ relay)

3)  Negative door trigger

4)  Do I have a 3 wire ground switched door lock/unlock

or a 3 wire positive switched door lock/unlock???

I know off hand that "ground when armed" wires goes to a pre wired starter kill relay pack. The negative door trigger(if your doors are neg) to that wire. Or you can look under your dash and see if you have a courtesy light, and hook it up there.. Test with a DMM first.

on that car you have a negative 3 wire door lock system.  Entry ill goes to the neagtive door trigger wire

Always double check your wires with a DMM!!!
