Hi, i'm installing a Clifford Matrix RS2 Remote Starter in a 92 Civic EX 4dr.  Everything is working flawlessly, except the door locks.  I am using a DEI451M door lock relay module, and the factory relay system is negative pulse.  the door locks worked at first, but the front driver doorlock would stay unlocked.  now, the doorlocks will lock just fine, but whenever they are unlocked, they lock immediately afterwards.  i have tried disconnecting the alarm and unlocking with the factory switch, and the same thing happens.

i have little experience driving factory relays, please help me!

Thanks,

Connor

I don't think you needed the 451M.  Should've just tap'd into the door unlock and lock wires.

you dont need to use the 451M, there should be a 3 pin plug that goes into the alarm brain with the blue/GREEN/ red lock/unlock wires just hookup the green and blue wires from your locks and cap off the red one.

yeah, i know i don't need the 451m, but it is supplied with the alarm, so i put it in there anyway... found the problem too.  i neglected to remember that hondas of that era have followme locks, and it was the followme lock that was backfeeding.  *snip*

after that it was just tidy up and put panels back (-;

speaking of 451ms, anybody know a good place to buy them online? i've seen lots on ebay for dirt cheap,  and i can get them wholesale locally for about 10 a piece, but i'm looking to pay about 3.
