What do you guys think about the future of Sirius, is it worth even selling? Now that XM is commercial free, I'm having trouble finding a selling point for the Sirius system.
Any thoughts?

Well I've worked with both XM and Sirus, and the only big deal was one was commercial free, and the other had a limit amount of allowed commerical time. But in my opinion I would chose XM over Sirus.

I've heard Sirius will be broadcasting some TV in the future, but XM doesn't have the bandwidth.

My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

There is also a price difference, not much but enough to make people chose one more than the other.

The whole thing about sirius is that they have back up if there one of three sats go down.  They have announced that they are going to broadcast streaming tickers for sports and stocks on all pieces with backwards compatability. They have demo'd there ability to transmit video streams to earth using current antannas.  Not to mention alpine  has jumped on the band wagon.

For all u xm fans, there already going to lose market share to sirius. At our shop we swap out a sirius for xm at least 4-5 times a month.

Oh and I bought sirius stock at $ .62 cents per share and sold it for just over $4.00. I am buying a new chevy truck on my profits.

I guess I am pro sirius, Because they can expand on there bandwith...

another thing if xm sat goes down due to a solor flare the company will fold, and they dont even have a back up sat... in case..
