Hi, got a question, on this truck the radio keeps playing after the truck has been shut off, until the door is opened the it shuts off. The problem I'm having is when the R/S runs it 15min or I shut it off with the remote the radio stays on until I open the door. Any ideas what I have to do to fix this problem??

            Thanks Craig...

The radio will shut down after a preset time period. Its in the owners manual for the truck....somewhere about 10 minutes.
You need to go into the door on that truck to get a door trigger wire. Pulsing it with the rearm wire from the remote start will shut off the RAP (retained accessory power). No relay is needed...a low current trigger works fine.
If you don't want to run a wire into the door, you can just remember to shut the radio off whenever you park the truck. The circuit will still stay powered for the 10 minutes, but at least your radio won't be blaring. I don't think you need to worry about the radio killing the battery if that is your concern....its only 10 minutes.

I  have this problem fixed, I located the gray/black wire at the door latch ( inside the door) and sent a neg signal through the rearm wire and it works fine. The radio shuts off 3-4 seconds after the r/s shuts down.

       Thanks for all your help...
