In the port length calculator section it says to find the length of the port L= 14630000*(D/2)*(D/2)/fb*fb*vb*1728-1.463(D/2) I feel this is a real good formula its the one I have always used to figure of port dimension but my problem is when I type in the numbers in the blanks to find out the length I dont think it subtacts the 1.463(d/2) and I was wondering if anyoune else has discovered that and if so am I right or am I not doing my math correctly maybe someone can help me

SBROCK I have wondering the same thing.  The calculator on this site is nice but It seems to not do the subtraction shown in the formula...  Does anyone know how to help us with this?  Im hoping the 12volt moderators or someone with knowledge about this calculator can help us.  It does make a difference on what frequency your box is tuned at.  HELP!

I just posted a question to the moderators in the Forum Help & How To's.  I haven't used the port length calculator, just was reading through the new posts.  We'll see what happens.
