The JL is specifically designed for use under a dash or in any other kind of custom installation for this problem.

Just one more for you to take into consideration is the Kicker RMB6 (actually 6.5", but that seems to be industry standard.

Frequency Responce 30-500

Power Peak 250 / RMS 125

Cutout 5 5/8"

Top Mount depth 2"  Bottom Mount depth 2 5/16"

Just so you know, it is a 4 ohm speaker, and also not in production anymore.

For more specs, http://www.kicker.com/images/manuals/RMB6_RMB8TechnicalManual.pdf, goto page 3

you can find them on-line here, http://www.infinitecaraudio.com/cgi-bin/icastore.cgi?user_action=detail&catalogno=02RMB6

Hope this gives you a little more variety to consider.

Yeah, okay, to each their own.  I was just offering an alternative in case he didn't quite have enough room for those JL's.  Also, since I'm not an auto stereo shop owner with all my own equipment to bench test every single piece of  car audio product I talk about, I was just relaying some info that Kicker has in their manual.

Oh, and foreign cars are better than american trucks. I doubt you can really get 100k miles out of a Chevy SUV without having to throw a bunch of money at it.

Yeah foreign cars (Honda) last forever it seems like without any problems usually. I like American SUVs though. yeah this is way off subject. ohh well.

Foreign suvs will rip apart any american crapola suv off road anyday in there stock form, , Toyota 4 runners, and Nissan pathfinders are infact the best suv's out thereLow profile 8 subs? - Page 2 - Last Post -- posted image.

American suv's are shopping carts with wheels and leather seats.
