How can i disable the daytime running lights on a 99 Chevy S10 2.2L. Ive got a diagram off Shopkey. Traced it around. Tried to locat the body module control thats on the side of heater case where should be a white wire that "should" open the circuit that runs the DRL. No luck finding it. So then looked for the switch on the E brake "since when ebrake is on the DRL is off" nothing. Then just pulled the relay switch and realized that my H Beam light is connected with that. Do any of you know of any other way to accomplish this ive done everything but call a GM engineer..Thanks

Press your dome light override switch on and off about 3 times in 2 seconds.  The same steps will enable the DRL.

Why would you want to disable your DRL? Its there for safety reasons and makes you more visible to other drivers.

the dome overide switch trick only works for '00-up models.  why disable it? I just dont like it. safety isnt a concern to me here in california people are still to busy on theyre cell phones to notice you anyway.
