When adding a remote start interrupt the BLACK/ red wire in the drivers kick harness to the rear of the vehicle with the status output ( 2nd IGN or 3rd IGN output ) of the remote start. This will keep the steering wheel from moving into place until the key is in the ignition and the brake pedal is pressed.

im not sure what you are telling me because once the car is started with the remote start(started without the key in ignition) the steering wheel memory is automatically erased. I need to add this relay to give the steering wheel power while it is being started so the memory is not erased.
