I purchased the DPX1000.2 b/c of it's ability to run @ 1ohm. According to the manual it says the unit will power down for 15 seconds and "reboot" in 1 ohm mode.  I can't seem to get it to do that.  The green light will blink for a couple seconds and then go solid and start playing. Subs sound great until about hald volume when the sound cuts off and the green light blinks again for a couple seconds.  I've tried reseting the amp like the manual says by removing the power for 30 seconds or more and that didn't help.

Anybody ever have this problem? Any Suggestions?

How are you running the subs? If you are in mono, this amp is not 1 ohm mono stable, thus the amp is going into protection.

Yup. i was informed that the amp was 1ohm mono stable.....but 2 ohm stereo isn't enough power for these subs....looks like I am gonna try to get another amp and run each 2 ohm sub on each amp.....so each one gets a 1000 watts.

The amp is "one ohm stereo stable" or "two ohm mono stable". What subs do you have that dictate 1000w rms to each one?
