Anyone know what GM is calling the "passlock" system found on the 03 / 04 Ion, 04 Malibu, 04 Canyon and 04 Colorado ?

Also, anyone know of any other GMs that use the new system ?

For what I know it is still called Passlock 2. I'm not sure about the '04 Malibu but the Ion and Canyon/Colorado use the same bypass kit. Omega's part # is DBPLXR. I have yet to do an install on one of these vehicles though.

no it's not PK3... I've had to make a few of these bypasses up with a resistor and a couple of relays...it's not a transponder system like PK3
