I'm looking into installing a video system in our Chrysler Pacifica and i have found a package that has 2 7 inch headrest monitors (with no cut brackets) and a dvd player. What i'm wondering is--is it possible to install this in a "temporary" manner. Can i wire the DVD just to plug into one of my 12 volt ports that are in the car. If not how hard (with very little wiring knowledge) is it to wire a system? Thanks for any help.

your best bet is to go with pre-fab headrests that will match your interior.  they will already be mounted into a new headrest. all you have to do is remove the original, replace it with the new monitor/headrest and run your wires down to the dvd. the dvd should have the cig lighter adaptor with it.

 good luck and have fun!!!!

do it right the first time....less warranty work=more money!:)
