Yes and No.  I want to hook my own amp to my Bose speakers but I don't think I can.  I have heard two different stories and don't know what to believe.  I don't want to blow money on a hope.  I think I am going to have to buy my own Mids & Highs and replace a few of them if I want to use my own amp.

thanks for your help

ANy more suggestions?  Signing off for the day talk to you later.

If you put a 4 ohm speaker in series with the existing speaker then your ohms will be 6 ohms if you put an 8 ohm speaker in parallel the ohms will be 6 ohms.

Ohms and running series, Parallel, I don't understand that stuff.  I know that I want to put Six mid/highs in Yukon but don't think I can do it because of the trouble I may run in to.  My front door speakers are 2ohm bose, back doors are 4ohms bose and the rear are 4ohms as well.  I would like to run those bose to my own amp but don't its possible.  I thought about installing new speakers to replace the bose but I am not sure what to do.  ANy help hotwaterwizard
