 Hi,

I have seen that a lot of Toyota will required to unlock the doors,  a conection from the unlock wire of  the alarm to the child safety lock wire in the car.  Any logical explanation to this?

 Thanks,

Only needed if you use the wires that go to the switch on the door. If you use the wires that go to the key cylinder in the door, its not needed. I've never used the 'child safety wire' in over 5 years of installing.
The switch on the door for unlock gets disabled after a few minutes when you lock the doors with a door open. Car assumes you are exiting the vehicle.
Reason Toyota does it is so someone can't pull back the window and with a coat hanger hit the unlock switch on the door and get in. Its for security reasons.

So when giving wire colors for lock  and unlock,  to determine which one and dealing with just connected and try, if it does not open them connect the child lock? or is there any other easier way of doing it?.

  Thanks.
