Find yourself a cd player that has an Auxilary input (rca input), use the cd player to run the audio system in the vehicle. You will need a harness for the 00 Civic and a reverse harness for the 00 Civic, the reverse harness to plug into the factory deck, it will be spliced for power, ground and ignition only to the other harness and both will plug into the factory harness in the dash. Attach an adjustable LOC to the rear speaker output wires of the stock tape deck, do not use any other wires from the stock tape deck, tape or crimp them all of so they do not short. Turn the gains down on the LOC as low as possible, Turn the cd player to Aux input and level match the gains. This should do the trick for you.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
