bd 500 or different

the box is made where each sub is sealed by itself. i have a 92 lumina that i am putting these into. just one more question. i know it might sound repititious but would i wire the speakers the same way with a punch 801s, and with any other 1 channel amps such as the memphis?

THe 801s would not be a good amp for this task, if you had one more speaker it would be a match, be it underpowered. Any other 1 channel amp would also work, if it stable to 1 ohm mono or 2 ohm mono the same wiring method can be used. Be aware though that even if you have chosen a monster 1 ohm amp, you will be presenting it with a load of about 2.3 ohms, thus the full output of the amp will not be utilized. It cannot be utilized with the number of subs you have and their voicecoil configuration. I would give the Rockford a try.Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
