Problem with the PAC TR7

I am having a problem with the tr7.

I have a 2002 Nissan Sentra.

I have picked option 9 the ignition controlled door locks.I followed the instructions to program it and it blinked 9 times and then I chose option 1 and it blinked 1 and then it flashed and I turned it off.I wired the unit in and it comes on when the ignition is turned on. The unit then will pulse close to every 5 seconds.Can you tell me what the it  means in the instructions by "true ignition".I know the relays are hooked up correctly because I can pulse ground to each and the work.The car has what they call a second ignition. Does the tr7 need to be hooked up to the second ignition?

Those things are great for many things but the programming is not fun at all. True ignition means that it read 12 volt in the on position and does not drop lower then like 10 volts when starting the car. I have used like 30 of those things but out of those like 7 were bad and did not work right. You can try redoing it a couple more times and see if it works and make sure you have a good ground on it too. Sorry for the possible bad news but hopefully you can get it to work.

I would call the tech number and ask them what they can do for you. I think that it is the unit not your install but they might be able to tell you a trick that i don't know. good luck with that.
