I just bought the CV919 (Nissan's OEM 6-Disc in-dash changer) and it only came with the 8-pin DIN connector that goes into the back of the stock radio.  I plugged that in but it still doesnt work.  I'm assuming that there needs to be a harness plugged into the back of the changer for power.  But there seems to be no grounding on the factory harness and I'm not sure whether to run the 12V (Blue) or the 12V swtiched (Pink) to the Changer.  Please advise! Thanks!

You will probobly only need to run the constant 12 volt lead to it. It shouldn't run down your battery when your cars off because it shouldn't be doing anything unless the factory radio asks it to play a cd.

No Luck,

I tried plugging the changer to the 12V Constant lead and grounded it to the chasis...still no power.  Maybe I need to hook up the orange line to the illumination lead as well?  Not sure.. gonna test it soon tho.  Thanks for the input.  ANyone else wanna stab at it?

what wires are on the back of the changer. This would help us figure out what goes where.

There's a black, a red, and orange and a yello wire going into back of the changer.

I'm thinking that black = ground, red = 12V, orange= illumination maybe? and i have no idea with the yellow...

I've only had experience with Pioneer changers that have a disk title memory so a constant +12volt connection was needed.  In your case, i would assume that the yellow wire is constant, and the red is switched/ignition, but don't assume anything.  Maybe go to a Nissan dealership and ask a technician.
Bravadas are cool
