If I were to install an aftermarket HU and wanted to run the speakers from the deck, how would I do it?  There is a pathetic little factory amp under the seat and I do not want to use it.  I cannot find a harness for "premium" set ups.  What do I need?  Educate me please.  Thanks

What you would do is pull off the sill plates (the plates that keep the capret pressed down to the floor on the sides) and run wire strait off the aftermarket harness to the rear speakers. Just follow the path of the other wiring in the car. For the front speakers it gets fun because you need to go through the door jams. You can do one of two things here. You can either try to fish wires through the door which is your best bet but will take longer or you can pull the speakers out, check the wire color then find thouse wires as they come out of the door jams on the inside of the vehicle. If you think you have the right ones, test them with a multimeter to make sure they do not have power in them, then when you are sure they are not live cut them in half and strip them. What you will do next is take a 9 volt battery and touch one wire to each post at the same time. If the wires are correct your speaker will make a popping noise. You then just have to connect your wires to the existing wires and you are set.

Thanks for the replies.  I found what I needed at Installdr.com.  Another great 12volt member directed me there.  Thanks again!
