Hey

I used to own a 90 corolla and I installed after market harada door lock actuators in that car, and in my 92 toyota truck. The key is to find a place under the physical door lock button where it pops out the top of the door panel. Usually there is a flat metal brace at the back edge of the door where you can mount the actuator, you just need to make sure the window will clear everything when it is rolled down. If you actuator has through holes you transfer those holes to the metal brace, and then drill them out so that when the actuator is placed on the inside side of the  brace you can insert an 8-32 size machine screw through and then put a wing nut on the backside. You may want to put a rubber washer between the door brace and actuator, this should help quiet down the action of the piston.  The key to making the actuator work well is placing it where the push/pull connecting rod is parallel or within a few degrees of parallelwith the manual door lock rod .

I hope this helps you. I wish I had a picture to send of my install , but I don't.
