I just got a sweet deal on a Clifford Matrix Responder RSX 3.5 (aka viper 791xv).

Everything looks good but just have a few questions...
Is it only supposed to include the 2way lcd transmitter, or is the one-way standard transmitter supposed to come with it as well?

What is the standard rocker switch (on/off) in the package for?

Forgot one more question.

What button(s) do you press to illuminate the LCD transmitter? I read that you can program it to illuminate when a page is received, but what if you just want to sporadically check it in poorly lite locations..

thanks

That unit only comes with the two way trans. The rocker switch is actually the supposed to run in line with the neutral safety switch wire (aka BLACK/ white wire). in its off position you cannot remote start the vehicle, if its on you can.

To illuminate the transmitter you push and hold all four buttons until it beeps once.  you then push the unlock button. if you want to put it in vibrate mode you hit the lock button. hope this helps

it only comes with one 2 way remote.
the rocker switch is for the neutral safety switch.
if you want to illuminate the remote; hold all four buttons simultaneously until one long beep is heard then press the unlock button to turn illumination on/off.

Holding All Four Buttons Down Goes Into Your "Owner Programming" Mode.  In There, you can turn your illumination on and off (the unlock button) and you can also turn your beep into a vibration by pushing the lock button.  Just thought that might help you out.
