the premieres are good, but i have a feeling that the L7 will take much more, i fried a 12 inch premiere 200 0watt sub off of a kaption 500 watt rms high current amp, kaption amps are amazing, so it was more like 600 rms, but still, the sub says 750 rms, and still shold take more, but it doesn;t, i would stick with an L7

wait till april and get the soon to be sub champion power acoustik MOFO - Last Post -- posted image. , Alpine's new W7 killer, the Type-X, 3000 watts peak.  They were designed to be run off of a mrd-m1000.

Acording to my alpine rep, it has a hell of a lot more displacement that the W7 is capable of.

Were talkin 12's here.

The mtx 9500 kills the w7 all ready. We had cars up here in canada running these subs and I have yet to see the JL touch the 9500. I think the new type x is gonna be  a head to head competitor with MTX

Bramha 12 is beastly as well.

i think out of all these super subs, id go for the bramha. One its cheaper, and supposively its a good sounding sub from peak to peak extrusion.

I need quality equipment, feel free to donate.

My friend has a bramha 10 and it is crazy, probally the loudest sub I have heard and it sounds great.  They arent cheap but they are good and they do not need alot of air space.

The alpine type-X has a ratailer cost of $280 for the 10", and $320 for the 12".  Those are canadian dealer costs.   There about $50 more then type-r's,.  so they will be a dam good priced sub for its class.    Just you'll need to fork out your dough for an amp to power them.  1000 wrms.

I saw my first pick of them today, they have a non directional surround.  So they will have the exact same resistance moving out as they do moving in.  Another heuge step towards SQ.
