what kind of car is it???
if you have a ford,
they have more then one ing. wire.
you will need to power each one up or everything wont work.
thats just the way the fords are.
Good Luck

I would think that if all of the ign wires and acc wires were powered up then it would have to come on

i sent you some ifno. power up those wires and that should take care do it for you.
it wont hurt to power them all up.
some gm's will lock up the tranny if all the wires are not powered up when the car is started.
i think the info you have is a general term. it doesnt apply to all cars.....
Good Luck
