I am looking to buy a CD/Mp3 Head Unit and thought I would see what everyone thought.  It needs to have a remote so that I can still use the controls on my steering wheel.  I was thinking about Alpine or Sony.  What do yall think?

Thanks for you opinion.

I Have had Alpine before and it did a great job, But I have been out of the game with this stuff so long I don't know what's good anymore.

I was thinking about the Alpine 9827

Eclipse makes excellent head-units. They come with a remote but not a steering remote control, but you can't pass up these head-unit's excellent sound quality.

I don't think the Alpine 9827 has the stealth face but it is still sweet looking.

I have not been able to find an Eclipse with Remote, they are hard to find for some reason.  I need a website that I can look at, that has a big selection of them to choose from.

The CDA-9827 looks decent and you should be able to get it at a good price. You might want to look at spending a little more and picking up the 9813, you would gain an integrated crossover and time correction. The built in crossover is awesome, I have the 9815 which is just one step up from the 9813 and I absolutely love it. I saw the 9813 on sale at circuit city for $299 which is a good price, look into it.
