Are these hard to install?  Is there a vacuum seal in the instrument panel?  I'm curious cause I never took the instrument cluster apart before.

Never tried myself. Shouldn't be any harder than say a 1990- 1993 Honda Accord. All the gauages have separate needles does it not ?? IF they share two pods on one gauge you'll have some difficulties but nothing that will cause you days of grief ( unless you break the needle off Indiglo Guages on dodge neon -- posted image. YES IT"S FROM PAST EXPERIENCES ) don't do that cause it's expensive to fix.
