Hi,  (viper 550esp)

So under the dash I have the door trigger wire that shows negative when the door is opened, so I connected it to the green wire from the module.  Peachy.

For the trunk trigger wire under the dash (that shows negative when opened), do I splice that into this same green wire for the doors, or do I splice that into

the gray wire for the hoodpin switch?  (I hope I don't need diodes, I've never used them before Trunk trigger to door wire or hoodpin wire - Last Post -- posted image.  ) .  I don't have a separate wire for the trunk, right?

Hey cpgoose,

No, don't use the green nor the gray for trunk pin input.  Use the blue in the main harness (H1/6),  that's what it's there for.  Trunk trigger to door wire or hoodpin wire - Last Post -- posted image.

Trunk trigger should have a diode on it at all times. If you tie it into the hood the light will come on when the hood is opened same with the doors use a diode.

Hmmm, so if I use the blue wire from the main harness for the trunk wire, I won't need a diode because I don't have anything else connected to it....correct?
