Do dual voice coils offer a performance advantage verses single voice coils?  Do dual voice coils offer any benefit over a conventional single voice coil design?  Just wanted the advice of someone else on the subject.

DVC subs offers more wiring options, to better suit the needs of different amplifiers.  Depending on the number of subs your using, the ohm rating of your voice coils, and the ohm rating of your amplifier, you may or may not benefit from a DVC sub.  Lower ohm ratings will draw more power from most amplifiers, so depending on your setup, a DVC sub may have advantages for you, or it may not.

The only advantage a DVC sub offers over a SVC is in hookup flexibility.  There is no performance difference.
