I bought this alarm and figured I would install it myself for the learning experience.  My father-in-law is an instrument electrician and wires airplanes as a hobby (so I have some support)

I am reading a lot before I go ahead.

The install manual states:

-Remote door locking/unlocking with built-in relays

-Built-in Parking Light Flasher with onboard relay

I assume this means that additional relays are not required for these functions?  They are built into the alarm itself?

The install diagrams show three fuses, is it wise to fuse anything above that?

Thanks, Mike

Correct relays are (on board),no you don't have to fuse anything else.

Thanks for the reply.  I have labelled all the wires on the alarm so I know where they go.  This weekend I am going to identify the wires in the dash.  There was an old AutoPage RF50 in there and the wiring is still there.  There are a couple of relays in ther, I assumed that as the Autopage was 10 years old that they were required at the time.  I am trying to get a wiring diagram from Autopage and see if a lot of the work has been done.

Have you ever seen any Cliffnet Wizard Cable around used?  Or the pin outs to make a DIY one?

Thanks, Mike
