I just purchased (because of economic reasons) 2 kicker cvr12's subs and a kicker dx350 mono amp... The subs are dvc's now i believe if i wire the voice coils in parallel and both speakers parallel i would receive 2 ohm's. Now what i'm kinda confused about is if  the amp pushes out 350w rms at 2 ohm's at one channel would it give both subs 350 watts? or is power still divided? sorry if this seems like a dumb question but i'm confused..

If the amp pushes 350 at 2 ohms and you have the spears wired in parrell then each speaker would get 175wats each.  the wattage is divided between the voice coils.

If the subs are dual 4 ohm coils and you have a dx 350 than you cant run it in 2 ohms. Your only real options are 1 ohm and 4 ohm. I know from experience that the amp wont run one ohm so you are gonna have to run 4 ohm which is gonna drop your power dramaticly. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but if you are running two of those subs and one of those amps than two ohms just aint gonna happen

Nevermind... I see what u mean they are DVC's so it pretty much drops each sub to 2 ohms......well this sucks for me.. looked over on the RF website  sub wiring diagram...
