does anyone know of a fabric store or somewhere where i can go to buy subwoofer carpeting in black or charcoal?  I know they sell this stuff online but i would like to know if i can buy it somewhere locally.  I live in the south suburbs of chicago.  if anyone knows of a store please reply.  thanks.

they should sell them where they sell stereos amps stuff like that just ask a local radio store

Another place to look if you would like it to match your vehicle is Wal-mart, They have replacement automotive carpeting in a roll in all different colors in the Automotive dept.  It's a little thicker, and doesnt have a backing, but if you want to go with a "built in" look its a pretty good deal. and its a hell of a lot cheaper. 8 sq yds for like $12.00 compared to speaker carpet around here its like $9.00/ sq yd.  And they have walmarts worldwide

Also, JO-Ann Fabric typically has a decent selection of carpet that you can use, in all sorts of colors.  They also sell vynal and have people there that will answer questions about upholstering your strange fit boxes.  They are little higher price, but they tend to have a lot of sales that you can get a decent deal if you watch for them.

is there a home depot over there?  i buy my carpet from home depot ....they only have a charcoal grey.  but its cheap, 1.50$ a yard ....pretty thick  ....but durable
