i am having trouble pinpointing the 3 passlock wires in this 2004 chevey truck and before i start cutting i wanted to make sure of the collors and exact location if anyone knows are they still yellow orangeblack and black or have they changed them in the 04 any help would be appreciated thank you in advance jh

the wires you want are yellow and black, they will be right next to each other in the main ign harness junction at the steering column.

yeah, just take off the steering column covers and it will be staring you right in the face, good luck

The Passlock wires are available in the plugs of the BCM directly below the steering column. The black Passlock ground wire is in the gray plug in position B7 and the yellow Passlock signal wire is in the brown plug in A6. There are duplicate clored wires in the harness in the steering column, so double check you get the correct ones.
