I have 2 1600 watt max amps and subs. I wanted to hook one amp up to each sub but was told that it would blow the subs in a matter of weeks is this true?

Also Any tips on on hooking up a capacitor because this will be my first time hooking one up.

Thank You

Dan

so with that you wouldnt blow them, why legacy amps, they are the worst plus your running JBL's with them, its liek a great speaker and not so great amp, you should check out the JBL amps those are pretty damn good.

Because they were all that I could afford at the momentthe JBL amps are $$$$$ Also what would running a 4 ohm amp to 2ohm speakers do just blow them?

I really wanted to get a MMATS amp but just dont have the money at the moment

? do you have the cap already ?

I am guessing from your previous post that the subs are 2 ohm are they single or dual voice coil

and your amp i assume is 4 ohm stable....or is it 2

how many amps are you going to be running????

If we learn from each success and
each failure, then we can improve ourselves
